This is just a quickie question and something for the future.

I know NOTHING about Adobe flash and I am assuming I would have to go down that route if I needed to do this fancy animation stuff they do all over the net?

In the "very" old way you would to add an anim to the site but these were high in size and took too long to load up. I downloaded a trial version of flash and thought this was "way" complex.

As I said something for the future, so no hurry with any answers.

You could do it with css3

Take a look at no. 31
Animatable: One property, two values, endless possiblities

But it won't work in every browser.

Interesting...I can't see how it works cos I have never looked at CSS3 but thanks for the link!

Use Javascript or JQuery (Javascript-based). You don't run into the same compatibility issues you will with Flash.
