IT student needs help for school project

My name is Sebastian and I'm studying IT. I have an assignment about interactive graphics that involves asking few questions professional designers. It supposed to be a designer from a company like Microsoft, Apple or something but the e-mails with question request I have sent received auto responses and they weren't really helpful. So if there's any designer that does it for living and is willing to answer some questions I would appreciate it very much.

1. What software / hardware would you recommend when designing graphics?
2. What do you keep using as inspirations when designing graphics?
3. What path did you take that enabled you to succeed in what you're doing?
4. How do you come up with ideas for new projects?
5. What do you do to keep up with the graphic trends?
6. What would be your advice to a "newcomer" to someone who wants to design and stay in this industry?

You don't have to answer all of the questions but if you're kind enough then I would be grateful since professional opinions on my school project are more than welcome.
Many thanks.
PS. English isn't my primary language so I apologize for any mistakes that give you troubles with understanding :icon_frown:
