    Hi Guys,

    I am just thinking about CSS and when I was at University I was told it was wrong to use minuses when using CSS for example using;

    .img_positon {

    Should Minuses be used?

    Yes. Just look at my site and the outdented stuff. Negative margins are invaluable--whoever told you that at uni needs a slapping.
  3. negative margins are ok by me.. otherwise its too difficult to make everything perfect (especially in IE7 :p) at least thats how i've used negative margins :D

    Another common use of negatives in CSS is in letter-spacing to tighten the tracking/kerning :)

    Another reason why I'm glad I didn't go to uni. :D

    PCPro did a review and according to them most computer grads aren't even tought basic security that would give any half decent hacker a run for is money, no wonder 10,000 sites get hacked a week.
