Anyone excited by Wacoms new toy unveiled today, Inkling? Inkling

How well it converts to vectors will be interesting, though I'd quite like it to digitalise/ keep initial scamps & logo work doodles so they're part my project folders, rather than scattered on various pads and eventually chucked.

That look seriously cool although I would need to see what it came up with digitally after drawing.

it genuinely looks really really nice, but the press release they put out when it was announced made me a lot less enthusiastic.

engadget link - video and the press release

still want it. about £140 if roughly translated from $200.

nice idea but maybe a bit pricey, then you've also got that box stuck to the top of your paper..... If it was under £100 it might be worth a punt but it's likely going to be closer to £200 as it's never an actual conversion with wacom :(

Hmm, interesting. Not sure how useful I'd find it in practice though. Nice gadget mind.
