How can I measure the distance between three objects so distance is equal between all of them?

If I have three objects or shapes on my art-board. I want to distribute equal distance between all of them. How can I measure and distribute equal space.

use a radius on each point of the same size where the circles cross is you point of equal distance. ( we use this in mechanical drawing all the time. )

Another vote for the align tools here. Go to Window > Align if you can't see them in your workspace. They're a life saver.
