Graphic Designer, Cambridge (£25k)

    A leading design agency in Cambridge is recruiting for an experienced Graphic Designer, to join their city based studio. Reporting to the Creative Director, you are an experienced designer who can produce high quality design within tight deadlines. This position will give you exposure to both graphic & web design so your day-to-day activities will be varied and exciting. The successful candidate will have a natural flair for design who is looking for a great working environment, where your opinions will be highly valued.

    This role will see you design and create marketing & e-marketing materials on a range of projects across the agency. You will have previous experience designing emails and advertising campaigns, e-copy writing, artwork for posters, multi-media CDs, brochure artwork, layouts of catalogues, design material for exhibitions/events and much more. It is essential you can take ownership of this role and be an excellent communicator across all divisions.

    As a creative designer, you will have the following skills:

    • Previous agency experience
    • MAC CS4/CS5
    • Sound knowledge of Photoshop and In-Design
    • Illustrator (advantage)
    • Packaging experience – advantage
    • Photography skills – advantage

    This is a print based Graphic Designer position but if you have web/digital skills, this would be a bonus. If not, full training will be given. Please ensure you live within 30 minutes of Cambridge to be considered for this role with a clean, driving licence.
