Good places to learn creating art in the same style as this->?

I am not asking for software but yes, I am using photoshop... I am asking for tutorials that can teach me how to create this type of art. Thanks anyways

Sorry. I skim read.

I think this comes under digital painting.
Not really my thing but the above could tell you better.

Yeah, probably done in Painter but you can use Photoshop. You'll need a graphics tablet and good drawing skills of course.
I think you'll struggle to find specific tutorials, but if you Google animation backgrounds or movie cartoon art etc,
you might find some blogs by actual digital background artists that take you through their work step by step.
Try Youtube and put in digital painting.

Thanks but the problem is that whenever i try to search for digital painting, it comes up with something else than this style art... of course I did try to search for digital painting etc. before asking you for your time.

Search for 'animation background' on Youtube, there's loads on there. Really though, it's just a matter of
opening up Photoshop and having a play around with different brushes and layers etc. Make sure you have a detailed
sketch of your scene first.

Or try Googling 'digital painting landscape tutorial' or 'concept art background tutorial', stuff like that?

Hi Niclas. Digital painting is what I'm into these days. Here's some of the fruit of my own research into it...

Here are some of my favourite YouTube accounts that might help. It's mostly characters but the principles will still apply.

Sure I posted in this thread....
Digital matte painting is a term that gets used in my line of work for the background art like in the OP's post although may need refining to cartoon style.
Can also look into cel shading as another approach too.
