Editing Jobs

Hi, I wanted to ask a question. What kind of career or major is about editing like girl's faces like retouching, adding shadows to other their pictures and everything like that? Where they send you pictures so you can fix....more fixing than creating like graphic design. I know graphic design is to create logos but what job is it just to edit and where and how can I learn to fix peoples photos? What would be the major to that?

It's possible to have a career as a photo retoucher I guess, but you'd have to have a lot of experience. I'm not sure you would find a course solely for that, it would normally
be included in a graphic design or photography course, or even a digital art course or similar. It's something you would learn along with other design skills.
Graphic design is not just about logos, btw.
 
A career in photo retouching? Seems pretty limited to specialise in just that, not to mention the software out there now that will automatically fix issues and users on a particular website that I will not mention that will do it well for peanuts. Not that i'm advertising that service but never been asked to do this in 20 years of trading.

Oh really? Graphic design is something I am interested in learning but really don't know what clients ask in this field. Thanks for the reply

Yea, will not just retouching but I guess other editing jobs like lightning and removing brightness in photos etc etc. Thanks for the reply
