Best portfolio prep

Hi I'm new to the forum. I'm currently working as a Design and Marketing exec but wishing to move on to focus on my design skills. I've found a graphic design role I'm keen on but out of touch with the best way to show my portfolio. I've viewed other designers who have dedicated web pages/sites, are print portfolios totally last season? How do you guys showcase your designs?

I focus on a web-based portfolio now because that's the field I predominantly work in now. Personally I've never had to show a print portfolio to a potential client, only to other studios.
