    Hi everyone,

I'm currently branding a product which is to be sold by a company. For the logo they have asked that I trial it with different fonts, all of which are standard fonts. I am fully aware of copyright so wanted to know what I need to do in terms of getting permission to use the font?

One other thing is that I may well be customizing the font for the logo so will I still need permission from the creator?

If you are using standard fonts on your computer then you have nothing to worry about but if they are fonts downloaded from a site you need to contact the creator or find out if they can be used commercially or not.
