Adobe Illustrator alternative

Hello,

I have a problem with Adobe Illustrator. For some reason, the program crashes frequently when I am opening AI extension file. So I am looking for AI opening programs.

Could you recommend a good one?

What Operating System are you running? Computer Specs? Version of AI? Any crash reports? Any error messages?

Affinity Designer. Opens AI files pretty well from my experience and is arguably much more intuitive than Illustrator. Still lacking some features but it's a decent runner-up.
