Which is the number one best font for comic text?

hello,
There are a million different fonts called "comic" available on line. Some are okay, but most of them are just weird.
I am on a quest to find the very best comic font; a nice, easily readable, sharp and fast font that looks exactly like the handwritten fonts the professional letterers used to put in our comic balloons when most of us were young.
I have seen uncountable fonts, but none of them really have that smooth look that I remember so well. I am so nostalgic for it, I could cry
So what do you guys think? Does anybody have a favorite?
I haven't found anything better than DIGITALSTRIP Italic yet, so far. And it's okay, but very sterile...

Thanks in advance for any suggestion

That one looks ok to me. I quite like CC Sign Language and Might Makes Right BB but these might be Adobe fonts.

You might be better off on a digital art site, there's not many illustrators on here. ImagineFX is still around I think, but not sure if it has a forum.

If you’re going for that classic comic balloon vibe, check out fonts from Blambot or Comicraft. They’re perfect for professional comic lettering.

Thanks so much for the suggestions; I'll try them all out. (y):D
Many of the forums for comic authors have faded away since the start of "social media", I'm afraid. Any specific art site in mind?
