where to buy a large format printer?

hi everybody
been doing vinyl cutting for a few years but now want to go into printing, [mainly posters i think] would like to be able to print on all mediums inc canvas, would prefer a newish machine able to do up to a0 size, cant spend more than £1500 really, have seen some chinese ones on fleabay, and some canon and hp ones any advice?
i did buy a hp 450 last year[fleabay] but it never worked and i think it would be a bit too slow if i got it serviced, advice please!

Welcome to the forums.

Your best bet for a cheap one would to check out if there are any printing companies gone into liquidation within your preferred travel area.


I'm not sure exactly what you'd need - but you should also try and find any print/design conventions in your area, you'll likely network that way with potential sales people.
