What Features would you want in a Project Management Tool

Hi all

I am working on creating my own custom project management tool. It will allow for me to input new jobs, for any specialists I may need to use (illustrators etc), and allow me to do my invoicing at the press of a button (in theory).

I was wondering what the main features people would consider the most important in a project management tool for a graphic design company?

I am just in the process of looking what is on the market currently to try to make sure the major bases are covered.

I'd say the important feature for me would be more accuracy when it comes to reports. In many cases, you need to check a lot of info very carefully, and it takes a lot of time.
 
A few things come to mind. First, it’s got to have easy job tracking, a way to keep in touch with specialists like illustrators, and simple invoicing.
