Yeh I only use it to shame people into doing the right thing when my consumer rights are violated!

However, from a UI/UX exercise, it's quite wrong, I feel.






Surely a tweet button at the end of where you're typing would be better?

How's it work from a hiding 'advertising' standpoint? Twitter seems to be in a situation where they're losing users (not surprising in all honesty with instagram and it's pictures lol) so are likely reworking to maximise return from the remaining ones.

I don't know about adverts, I have an ad blocker.

Most users don't. Looking at my stats on one site and it's nearly 80% on phones and tablets. My wife hasn't used a PC in years.
