Hello designers! :)

I'm doing a quick survey to learn more about the graphic design industry from your side of things:
  1. How old are you?
  2. Genre?
  3. Do you have a degree in design? Or are you currently pursuing a degree?
  4. What is your favorite type of work/gig? Why?
  5. What is the most boring/cumbersome type of work/gig for you? Why?
  6. What is the most difficult part of the business for you? Why?
  7. What is your desired (ideal) result?
  8. What concerns do you have for your future (career wise)?
  9. Anything else you want to add.
I'm really curious to see everyone's answer! And I hope it will be fun for other people on the forum to see each others answers as well.

Well I'm not going to answer because I have no context as to WHY you want the information... I don't like giving 'personal' information to random strangers in all honesty.

PS... I know this is a question for an educational institute... we don't like that fact being hidden either.

I should have clarified that! I am a student, correct. But it's just a curiosity, I collect data and compare it to similar industries. I thought it could be fun for your community to see what other members think as well (hence the public post).

  4. What is your favorite type of work/gig? Why? Paying ones, because it's nice to have walkin' round money.
  5. What is the most boring/cumbersome type of work/gig for you? Why? Hate surveys!
  6. What is the most difficult part of the business for you? Why? Money, because people don't part with it easily.
  7. What is your desired (ideal) result? Trillionaire
  8. What concerns do you have for your future (career wise)? I'll be dead in 10 years

  5. What is the most boring/cumbersome type of work/gig for you? Why? Presentations and corporate docs
  6. What is the most difficult part of the business for you? Why? Finding new clients. Find them before you need them!
  7. What is your desired (ideal) result? To be able to own a home and retire with money to last me
  8. What concerns do you have for your future (career wise)? Not too worried about any to be honest
  9. Anything else you want to add. Nope

  4. What is your favorite type of work/gig? Why? Passive income! Because I earn money without doing anything.
  5. What is the most boring/cumbersome type of work/gig for you? Why? Building websites. Because of clients
  6. What is the most difficult part of the business for you? Why? Getting specs from clients. Most have no idea what they really want
  7. What is your desired (ideal) result? Not working at all
  8. What concerns do you have for your future (career wise)? B]None[/B]
