Question regarding how to keep a roll-over image on the screen

I'm building a menu on the right of my website (see below) allowing the user to change the frame around the display window. The first two links are now active but I can't work out how to fix the frame in place once it's been clicked on or rolled over. I wonder if anyone nows how I can achieve this effect in Dreamweaver or if there is a piece of code I can drop into the html file. Thanks.

How familiar with jQuery or are you?

This is a reasonably simple jQuery function... I've created a js fiddle for you to look at how it works

I wasn't able to get my head round jQuery. However, I was able to achieve the desired effect using the mouse up/down/over key options in Dreamweaver's behaviour panel. Now when clicking on any one of the four corners of the main display on the right hand side of the website (see below), I'm able to choose and fix in place a picture frame motif.
