I'll check this out as we have a client who locks his pdfs and doesn't even know that he has!!

I've tried loads in the past, sometimes programs that you install and none of them ever cracked the password. Was really surprised when an online site did it in literally 2 seconds, and the file was fine.

I too wondered this, but recently a client forgot the password on a PDF and needed an amend urgently - the PDFUnlock! site sorted the problem.
