Page order for paper chain doll brochure

Hi All, I'm creating a brochure that will be die cut to look like a paper chain doll. I'm struggling a bit with which order to put the pages in so that the content reads in the correct order.

I'm not sure how people would first interact with it, would they open it up fully and then read or do they ready as they open it.

Option 1: Spine is on the right for the first page when closed, feels like I want to open it up fully before reading the content
Option 2: Spine is on the left for the first page when closed, seems to read like a book but could be confusing what order to read content in when fully open

Hoping someone has done something similar and has some real world feedback.

Thanks

I would say option 2, as you would open most things like a magazine/books to the left, although content/panels (when flat) should then read left to right and the same on the other side, however, it's quite difficult to get my head around.

I would print off a couple of physical samples and show them to friends etc to see which they think works best.
