Old English MT and Gothenburg Fonts (Make interior lines wider)

How do I make Old English MT and Gothenburg interior lines wider or Embossed? What shareware or freeware package can I use to do this? Is there a way to do this? I am doing leathercraft and need them 1/4" wide can this be done?
