How did they do Po’s hair? I want to create a tennis ball for a commercial and for print and one of my friends invited me to participate. I want the ball to have the hair/fur texture, any hints?
 
You need to buy LightWave 3D, it's actually quite well priced for what it does at around the £280 mark which comes with LW CAD too.

Now not being a user of the software I am not 100% sure, but to do the hair/fur you need to use
"Fiber FX", I am not sure if this is part of LightWave or a plugin...do a search online.
