Interesting read about FREE Wordpress Themes

Scary really. I did notice the cheap hosting company I use (Cirtex) was coming up on some of those hidden links. Think it might be time to jump ship if that’s how they advertise.
 
Great article Boss Hog. Read it with interest. I know she does qualify her findings by saying that there may not being anything more sinister than some link hiding going on but it ceratinly goes to show that there is no such thing as a free lunch...errrm...I mean website!

This is why we much prefer ModX CMS as a base for customer sites. The way it is themed is by breaking down an HTML and CSS design that we have coded from scratch and rebuilding it within the ModX framework so we know our code is clean.
