Indesign Styling

vector

Hi,

I'm wondering if there's any way in Indesign to style a vector graphic from illustrator. Basically, I've got a small arrow that sits next to an image caption text box and ideally I'd like to have that arrow place exactly in the same spot every time I create the text box for an image caption. I've set up paragraph styles, just wondering if there's anyway to do this?

Thanks!

Are the caption text boxes in different places over every page, or exactly the same place on every page?

The only way I can see of achieving this is to draw your text box and then place your vector graphic inside the text box. This will place the vector graphic as an anchored object (ctrl click to manage the anchored object options). Once you have the anchored object in place, you can copy and paste it within the same text box for the additional bullets.
