illustrator cs6 and pantone colours help

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with pantone colors.

I have a client who wishes to have pantone 370 and 377 in a design. I am using Adobe illustrator CS6 and when I search for these colors in the pantone colour books I can't find them. I looked for some answers on google and from what I read these colors are from the old pantone color books and CS6 uses the new pantone+ colour books. Is that correct? If so, is there any way that I can get the old colour books in CS6? or are there colour equivalents of pantone 370 and 377 in the new pantone+ colour books in CS6?

Any would is much appreciated!

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Window > Swatch Libraries > Colour Books

In the pop up menu select the pantone swatch you want (Pantone Solid Uncoated?)
You can type in the pms number you want, click on that to add

You could create them yourself with a rough approximation making sure they're spot colours. When it goes to print they should separate fine. Also, if you place in InDesign the colours will appear in your palette. :thumb:
