how to upload a website on filezilla

I am trying to uploading an index.htm on the internet by using filezilla what do i need to do please,

I have just been catching up on some old threads...and this guy called himself a web designer but he couldn't work out how to use Filezilla to upload an index.htm file?? And his own website...ermmm...

I know a miniscule amount about web design but even my own website from before WMK Copywriting was better than that and I coded it myself!
