Google Page Rank Increase?

PR updates are still working their way through the datacenters, even so, PR isn’t as important as what it was 18 months ago!!!

Mine increased from PR 2 to PR 4 in a fortnight!

Now my sites up to PR5, anyone else had an increase recently?

Yep, the forum has just jumped from PR3 to PR4 which is good.

PR5 is good Gareth, my other site was PR5 but recently dropped back down to PR4. To be perfectly honest though I noticed no increase in visitors from when it was PR3 to PR5.

I don't think PR means anything anyway to be honest (please correct me if I am wrong), I have a PR5 homepage with PR4 internal pages, some of the internal pages are optimised for certain keywords and I am not anywhere to be seen on google, although other PR3 sites are on page 1 for the same keywords!

That's correct PR in itself will not put you in first page, you need to look at on page optimisation as well as link building.

Mine both dropped to PR4 ages ago, to be honest I have seen no decrease in traffic as a result.
