Good font for a tattoo

Right I am thinking about having another tat.

I want it to say something like
Heaven is what we make the earth, or something similar.

Anyway I want an Arabic type font but cant find any that I would like to have permanently on me. :D

Any suggestions?
Doesn't have to be Arabic if you think you have a good one.

Cheers

Arr spot on buddy, think I'll go for either ~
Catharsis Bedouin,
XXII Arabian Onenightstand,
or maybe Arab Dances.

But I'll have a proper look more near the time TBH.

If anyone likes any other fonts, doesn't have to be Arabic, let me know.

Cheers though Sunburn much appreciated.

Maybe get a custom one done by an Illustrator or Graffiti artist? Would make it more unique than just a free font.

Or you could find a Tattoo artist who does freehand and then tattoos over that. I got mine done in Bangkok by this wicked guy who just drew what I told him to draw with a marker, and then amended it on the spot until I was happy before tattoing over it. Gives it a nice unique feel instead of just having no.22 in the folder.

Yeah good idea.

Well what I'm going to do is is create it my self, as 3 of 7 of my tats are either by me or a couple of friends, the other 4 are words I picked in Chinese, I hope :D

What I want to do here is print it off then go down and let my tat guy free hand it from the design/ font that has been printed off.

I suppose I could go in in advance but TBH when it comes to my tats I'm really picky and may be in their for several hours, lol.

And besides what does my control freak personality have to do in the mean time, :D

Yeah that's what I did for my octopus I have on my right arm - in UV ink of course ;)

How about something in Elvish.. that has an arabique-esque feel to it, and it would be quite unique....

How to write Elvish

O wow I like that, the instructions on how to write it though seem pretty immense, maybe when I decide on the text, I could ask someone to write it for me, maybe?????? :D

And actually I was going to have it on my forearm but that position looks so much better, huh but then I'll have to get rid of my Celtic symbol design, that I want to cover my back, arr now I going to have to chose.

Unless you can get this qualified by a few people who can read Arabic then be careful before getting it tattooed.

Personally I like a really nice script style font. Check some of these out by Mr Cartoon

O yeah, lol.
Sorry should have clarified, what I meant was a font in English but in an Arabic-looking type font. lol.

Cheers for the link much appreciated, I'll check it out when I get 5 mins, mad house today, lol.

Hope you had a good night last night. :)

Errr......not sure I would have it so big, nor bolded, but I will still consider it.

Cheers for posting.

Can you resit the temptation for an I <3 design forums tattoo Greg?

I'd have to find a tattoo artist with one hell of a steady hand to get the speech marks in the logo! :p

well the guy said he doesnt want to get fat either, otherwise the kerning is going to be buggered

LOL  that is a serious consideration!

if your gonna get lettering tattooed, get it custom drawn by a really good tattooist.

if you can't find a really good tattooist, don't get tattooed.

Really?
Because the one on my ankle looks really good, and I did it using the same process as I am doing now. :D
mmmmmmm

I'd say so yeah.

There are tattoo artists that specialise in typography, generally ones from a graffiti background. Like Boog. And Mike Giant.

It's worth hunting down the best if it's on you for life.
