Hey Guys/Girls - trying to replicate a cool design I saw (for practice) and am coming up short.

I'm looking to do this:


And here is where i'm stuck. I can't quite seem to get the angles to line up.


Any help would be AWESOME!

That's because you've drawn the arrow incorrectly. The arrow points on the sample are clearly drawn with a 90º angle!

As Wardy says.

Instead of drawing a triangle for the point of the arrow, draw a square and delete one corner and re-join the points up to make a triangle with a 90 degree angle.
Rotate it using shift to contain the angle in 45 degree increments.
