Flat design

Hi Guys,

I was wondering what your thoughts are on the flat design that has come in over the last few years. I quite like the pastel colours that are used within these new designs.

Just wondered what your thoughts are!

Getting a bit sick of it to be honest. Everything is starting to look the same again. I'm sure we'll be back to a post-modern trend soon enough.

I'm kind of with Paul but not quite to the point where I'm sick of it. Although I am purposefully starting to move away from it. The last logo I designed for a client was not flat, it had some subtle depth to it (no drop shadows) and I thought it looked refreshing just because of all the flatness that is about everywhere you turn. Saying that, I also provided a flat version of the logo in case my client preferred to stick with the trend.
