Hello all I am a Graphic designer.
I decided to create my portfolio so I will engage more potential clients.
As this is my first attempt I would like to ask you for your feedback.

I really enjoyed looking at your work.
I didn't get into a lot of detail with it but what I saw was very nice.

The website is not on par with your designs that you've showcased, there's a bit of disconnect.

I understand you may not be a web designer, but it is slightly jarring in terms of design ability.
 
Thank you very much for your feedback. I used to be a web designer. I made this site with Squarespace.
Could I ask you what is the thing that you did not like on my web design?

It's a functional website, but the muted colours and the awkward navigation.
It's just along side your work - which is very good - it doesn't compare.

It's like it was designed by someone else.

It's completely fine - and if I was reviewing your work for a job I'd concentrate on the portfolio pieces and not the web site.

When you say about muted colors you mean about the front page background?
