Is there a reason why facebook has not been replicated? i,e do they have the rights to certain elements? or, is it that it would be so time consuming to replicate and that you would never compete that there has never been something buit thats similar in nature... I use the word 'replicate' loosley..:icon_confused:

Hi, in reply to your question, facebook can be 'replicated' but it would be such a big project it would need alot of work putting into it! Therefore, even a team of experienced programmers would take months even years to make a functional similar site. But as far as i know, you would be able to ' replicate' facebook but it wouldn't be worth it giving the amount of time it would and the competition you would be up against at the time when you complete it! Hope this answers your question,

On another note, myspace is altering its interface to emulate facebook more and more..probably because facebook is the superior website.
