So it's finally time for me to write my dissertation (which I actually should have started months ago). Anyway, if you could take 2 mins to answer this simple (LOL) question I'd be incredibly grateful.

I do like the difficulty of this apparently simple question (Q2 on the survey) - so much so that I've postponed my response to have a proper think about it.

There is a specific idea that's troubling me but I worry that posting details here for discussion might risk interfering with other people's responses...
