Design Conventions / Meetups of 2014?

Just crossed my mind if these things happen for us designers. I have been trying to Google this but have come up trumps. Also, if they exist, are they worth attending?

The main one that comes to my mind is Offset festival which is held in Dublin – OFFSET Events | Dublin's Creative Festival

There may be local ones in your area, have a look on meetup.com. There are a few local ones around Manchester that I attend that are organised through the site.

Cheers! I have signed up to the meetup.com site... nothing as yet in Suffolk so may have to venture further afield like London and other surrounding areas.
