Birdy Gaming Logo design feedback

Don't like that typography; too small tracking too tight. Also, I'm not sure what the droplet has to do with gaming?

Tell us more about the concept and the company it's for and we can probably advise better.
 
It looks more like a possible film brand/logo. It's a tricky one to get right first time, (never done a game logo), but I would say think more along the lines of fun when doing this. Doesn't have to be too serious does it?

Pretty much what Paul said, the droplet and font do nothing for me. Maybe if you scaled up the 'bird' so it sits in it's box better and got rid of the font altogether? just an idea.
