Affinity Designer 1.7 released!

Found out yesterday that Serif have released Affinity Designer 1.7 and it's looking good.

Some great features and improvements but for me the real game changer for me is that they've added "Isometric Studio" to both desktop and iPad versions.
Also you can run it on both and have your iPad as an additional monitor.

That combined with the new iPad IOS is making a move to Affinity on iPad at only £15 one off cost a very real and tempting option.
 
Cool! Some nice little touches been added and Serif have really listened to what people want.
 
How have you guys found the change?

Since I am leaving my job soon, I will need to pay for my Adobe subscription, and I don't have that sort of money! It's a good excuse to go back to Affinity.

With my travels fast approaching, would you recommend I invest in Affinity on my iPad 2018. I annoyingly only have the 32GB version though...

Also, does Affinity sync between your iPad and laptop? Including brushes and other plug-ins?
