A4 printer

Hi

I need an A4 colour printer (inkjet) for my home studio. It's mainly for checking layouts/font sizes in print. Speed of printing is more important to me than colour accuracy/photo quality (although those would obviously be an added bonus). I need one that is Mac compatible and preferably not too big.

Budget - anything up to around £150

Anyone have any models/brands they would recommend buying or steering clear of?

I always avoid Lexmark closely followed by Brother. My weapon of choice has always been Epson

Have you thought about borderless printing? If you're checking font sizes etc... a printer with borderless capabilities will be very useful as it wont automatically scale down to fit the printable area or crop 10mm around the edge of a document.
