Please, I need help with a Brand Name for my Freelance Graphic Design Brand.
List of few will help.

Can be Combination of two words (Emotional or Modern).
Can be short words.
Any creative, trustable and Reliable brand name that is great and will attract great clients.

I've tried but could not come up with anything both personal and online attempts.
Can someone help me on this one please?
Thank you!
God bless you.

What's wrong with using Harmony? Sounds like a good name to me.

Use your own name. Clients don’t care about your branding.
That's not true.

If you can't use your own name or a variation of it, Harmony Design sounds fine.

Alternatively, just find a good thesaurus and choose a word that sounds right.

They don’t care which shade of blue you use, the name on the website, the font or much else. As long as the content is well presented and you demonstrate authority and trust you will convert.

Do some testing. Rebrand your website and see what difference it makes.

Of course they care, or at least I would. If I am looking for a graphic/website designer and they cannot get their own logo/brand/website right, I would not entertain using them.

I always go back to the gardener I hired.

I had 3 companies come out to me to price a job.
One turned up in a wrecked old van, had no material, business cards, branding, or anything else.
The next guy turns up in his car, has some self-made b/c, and took a few notes, sent me an email from a Gmail account.

3rd guy rocked up in a fancy van, fully vinyl, b/c, pens, a t-shirt with the logo on it, a website - he clearly invested in his business, in his look, in his branding.

I went with the 3rd guy. Presented professionally.

Totally agree, but it wasn’t the actual branding that made the difference, it was the fact he had some branding. Did it really matter what the company name was?

I agree but you just need something presentable. The fine details aren’t important. We have threads here where people need a very specific font or colour. But it really doesn’t matter very much. If a graphic designer can show me some stunning work that is similar to what I want then it matters not if they have a fancy logo or clever name. Run some click trails on your website, most visitors won’t even register your logo.

I see your point.

Branding first is important. But just using your name could be problematic down the road when you want to get a different more accurate business name, all the rebranding, all the logos, etc have to be done again - let alone your customer base will need to adjust to the new name.

Which is why I always advise people to go for something generic but easy to remember: Amazon, Google, Etsy, Tesco, Haribo - the names tell you nothing about what they do - it's the marketing that creates the association.

Without scrolling up can you accurately describe the forum logo? You probably remember bits of it but not the fine detail. It's the same with your Gardener, you remember the professionalism but how much of his actual branding can you recall?

I built a website for a company a while back. They spent ages finding a particular shade of blue for the footer background. A week after launch I changed it to a websafe colour. It's been three years and they still haven't noticed.

Amazon, Google, Etsy, Tesco, Haribo
Amazon was selected from a dictionary as being exotic and wild, like his idea.
Google was originally Googol - the name for 1 followed by 100 zeros.
Etsi was selected as a nonsense word but from Italian - etsi means Oh Yes!
Tesco was from TE Stockwell and Jack Cohen - TESCo
Haribo is an acronym from Hans Riegel Bonn

I know - my point was the name doesn't indicate what sort of business they are.
But there are companies that do
Netflix - internet films
Kentucky Fried Chicken
International Business Machines - IBM

Then you have companies that had previous names
Quantum Computer Services - AOL
Backrub - Google
Blue Ribbon Sports - Nike
Auction Web - eBay

Basically - there's companies who product drives the business - so having a great name isn't necessary - you're not selling the company name as a selling point.

And then you have the KFCs - does exactly what it says on the tin, you know what you're getting before you get in the door.

Whether to have a name that is meaningful, nonsense, or Ronseal (does what is says on the tin), is really irrelevant.

Someone is looking for a name for their business - for a design business having a nonsense name like WackysStudio or CinderallaShoe or HumptyDumpty, or HunchBack etc. isn't going to attract customers - or attract returns via web searches.

But whether you go the random name route or your own name - it's done both ways.
There's no need to push people towards the "It doesn't matter nobody cares" - it's not esoterically true.

I very much agree with everything you said Sir.
I'm from a country were majority see Art to be just Art and for beautification purpose as many sees it to be.
We don't really value art here, Only few does.

Let alone Graphics Designing things on Computer and until u print it out is just like seeing food images on google website, you are hungry but cant eat
Yeah! that's how it feels to most client here. Why am I saying this?

Without a solid Branding and a good brand name, It hard to come by Great clients/ Companies who understand the values of Art or Graphics design works in this modern computer age and are willing to pay for your services.

I am using my name but I decided to change it. Why?
Its because when client gets to know it one man Graphic Design brand and not a company or something sort, It a different issue.
Clients feel unsafe in some way and secondly when you charge for the service you are about to offer them... Hmmm!

Using your name for your brand is a great thing cause I personally use my name for my brand. But... .

Good Branding and having a unique name for your brand is really effective in terms of getting great clients/ Companies who are willing pay for your services. Here in my country it works. Its creates that impression that you are a company or a trustworthy group.

So it really matters!

There are other brands out there called Harmony
So what makes the difference?
- Branding right ?
No, the brand makes the difference not the branding. If there competitors with the same brand name choose something different. Or add a second word. Your surname, the town where you live, the name of your pet.

I'm in the same boat and I find it really difficult but then I do believe that being a Designer, a name, logo and branding are super important as that's one of the things we sell to clients.

Don't forget to consider your domain name and social media handles.
I found a really helpful tool when checking for domain names called Namecheckr.
You enter your name and it checks for domains and also social media to see if it's available.

You can go with any name for your Graphic Design business. As other have suggested to go with
your own name is also a good idea. Moreover, the name should be the one that is suited to be easy
on tongue, and should be simple, so that it can be remembered easy. And use of generic words
makes it more than easy to read.
