Thanks Dave. I'm stuck with the scrolling for a bit as I've paid for the site for a year and there's not much I can do about it and I can't afford to buy a new one. I'm not a web designer so making my own is not an option, nor is paying a web designer to do so currently. I see what you're saying...
you and me both! (and cool! a neighbour!! :) )
The printing issues seemed to magically resolve themselves when they were printed on someone elses printer! Frustrating, but a bit of a relief that it wasn't really my fault. Really can't wait to get some more paid work so I can get rid of this old...
I might actually do that next year you know - I'm pretty cash-strapped and jobhunting at the moment and have forked out about £70 for this for a year. Hopefully by next year I'll have enough funds to send myself on a web design course so I can get it exactly the way I want. I'm pretty happy with...
Thanks Edge! :)
I have tried making the font bigger especially for the intro paragraphs and am still working on this - negotiating certain things with that website is a challenge sometimes!
I totally agree with the blog - Last time it just imported the content for my blog and applied its own...
Hi guys - I've had a bit of a rebrand since joining and have also got a new website! i'm very excited about it!
It would be great if you could have a look at it and give me some feedback!
just to point out - i know for the contacts page its not great that i don't have clickable buttons for...
cheers love - it's currently www.natashapage.com but I'm going to shift it over to the behance ProSite - Tumblr is great but also a pain in the bum for updating for example - photography and try and group things together figuring out the timestamp etc. I'm keeping it for my blog though, but if...
hi chaps i'm desperately trying to find out how I can sort my tumblr out - it is doing my head in. I know some basic html and css and managed to edit a theme to make it look vaguely how I want but there are a few bits i'm stuck on - such as how to make the image on the permalink page (i'm...
absolutely drooling over the white vista.... do you know of anywhere that does something like that - the hinge style that I don't need to take out a mortgage to afford? I've spent the past hour on google and keep getting pina zangara results thrown back at me or places that do something similar...
already done that and it didnae work. I think I'm just having a personality clash with it - will have to just manually load the fonts in as that seems to work. Ah well - thanks for the help chaps!
would it help to know you're not alone? I did my degree in Comparative literature, loved my course, took two years out to be a fine artist while working in retail for pocket money. My immensely supportive boyfriend convinced me to chuck in both and become a graphic designer - while it means i...
ah. I don't have that... I don't have a library under my user name, but I pulled it up using the thing i said in my last post caches>adobe and my options are bridge/colour/flash player/type support then under type support cs5/6, it says 'AdobeFnt_CMaps.lst' or 'AdobeFnt_OSFonts.lst'
I typed in...
Thank you!!!! thankyouthankyouthankyou! I will do that now!!! I was literally yelling at the computer. I managed to figure out how to manually add them to an adobe folder after spending about 20 mins trying to figure out where the hell 'library' is on a mac as apple doesn't seem to think it's...
I downloaded a bunch of fonts from Font Squirrel today - they all downloaded fine, no errors were listed when installing them.
They're not showing up in Illustrator. Which is weird because I've got others in the illustrator list that i've downloaded from font squirrel before, so I have no clue...
