Calibri isn't so wildly distinct that I can see it being a problem to use something else. There is a massive blacklist of fonts from various sources, for all manor of reasons. In work, the designers always use google web fonts or free font-face stuff to make life easier. Cufon...well it blows.

Not tried it. Current job wordpress is the way, old job Concrete5 was the way. Trying to talk a client into using anything they haven't heard of is always a challenge. People hear wordpress and think CMS, like there isn't another one out there!
