I'd be careful with Calibri. You wouldn't use Times New Roman for much these days because everyone associates it with DIY-Word. Calibri might not be there yet (I get tenacious around it) it certainly will be soiled by it's adoption in Office soon.
And yet being un-obsessed can have a profound effect on whether your work is perfect or merely mediocre. I wouldn't call myself obsessed.. however I do find myself getting insanely annoyed at the iPhones battery % meter on the iPhone 4. Has anyone else noticed the 1 and 4 look over-weight...
Totally, Networking is the way to go. Get a LinkedIn account, get as many people as you can to put up some reviews... Maybe try and get in with a startup - they're always looking for work on the cheap and if you can afford to offer it to them, word spreads fast (I work with a couple of startups...
I already use Wordpress for my blog itself (tumbleweed-central.. but I plan to revive it sometime soon, when I get the time!). I'm aware that there are themes available for it, I was just exploring the alternatives! Tumblr certainly looks interesting. Thanks Greg.
