Set up a draft contract with points you feel comfortable with, like "maximum of X revisions", "X hours of consulting time, after that charge X amount". When you're happy with those points, find a lawyer and let him/her read it. It would probably cost a little bit, but it saves a lot of bullcrap...

I think that's called the MacFirefox bug..You could try to add margins to the "a style" in your css..

That's what I do too. I don't mind CSS'ing, but someone else does a quicker job than me. Time/money-wise it was better for me to outsource. I do this to someone I know, rather than use an anonymous slice 'n dice service..

I don't know about that golden ratio. I mean, if everybody is designing their site like that, all sites will look the same. I try to be a little different every time (although a lot fo my sites are designed like that..)

I ued to use Joomla! 'till I got my custom CMS. I think Joomla is too hard for clients to understand, if they're not too computer-savvy..
