I need to get a club handbook printed.
200pp A5 spiral bound x500 copies
We're doing the design and setup.
Never got anything this thick printed and bound before.
Any tips much appreciated.
Also who might be able to do it.
Generally your business card is a contact card, not a miniature marketing flyer. As such you need only the minimum you can get a way with - not how much can you put on it.
The old adage keep it simple stands true.
Business Name
Your name
Role: only if this may be important to client...
I prefer the second, I agree with Ash as it is more subtle.
For the text I feel the 'claritax' is too heavy or is that the 'books' is too weak against the rest.
A tip given to me some time back:
Print it out a large as you can.
Stick on a door a the end of a corridor or hall way and view it...
Most impressed with Rubber Stamp Company (co.uk). Fast delivery on a bespoke stamp. Spoke on the telephone afterwards to thank them. Very courteous and helpful. can recommend them.
Yesterday I trialled 4 different stamp companies. 3 our non UK yet pretending to be, I thought this strange. One Dutch company payment system keeps reverting to Dutch language during payment process. Obviously a gremlin messing with their language plugin. I was unable to pay - customer service...
I've have a few requests for loyalty card stamps.
I have seen a few suppliers of generic 'house' 'tick' or coffee bean' but was wondering where I could get 'bespoke' loyalty card stamps from?
I wholly agree. I realised a long time ago that I must give value to what I do because not everyone else will. Just don't sell yourself short a small number of extra clients.
Considering the time for designing and meeting/reviewing with clients we charge £125 minimum but may increase this if a client wants meetings in person etc.
I was recently challenged over pricing of various services which made me have a re-think. One area that keeps coming up is 'cheaper' logo...
The more I think about the more annoyed I get. Our quotation is 'strictly for 16 items'.
When first I met the client they showed me some 100+ items*. They mentioned that in the future they would like all 35 new items to be photographed.
[*100+ i.e. 35 different clothing items lines in multiple...
As a heads up on the client though.
We priced the project on half day photography plus our work.
They agreed to our project price [based on 16 products as you see above]
However they have delivered just over 35 products to photograph. How annoying.
I will stick to project agreed rates and...
Interestingly enough I have had my 2 local guys come back with very different figures.
a) £10 per image - minimum £150
b) £160 for a half day £250 full day
both require items delivered & collected. I thought both rates very reasonable.
I don't do photography for clients as a rule. However local business has changed hands and needs some photos of their new products. I have got a couple of photographers that I trust to do the work. Both have asked the same question. How much? joking of course.
Because they have done small jobs...
