Hey, I was hoping for some opinions on an early stage of a logo design.
It is to represent myself, as a freelance designer.
Any thoughts would be good and type to come to it soon!
Be gentle ;)
It is the names/ designs thing that get me! It might be because every other site offers a price for either single or double sided. I guess what your offering is a combined fee if you have different designs?
Looking at it again, it isn't that confusing! I am just stupid. But maybe it could be...
I ran a big google search and asked for sample packs.
I think you should reevaluate the way you have presented your business card pricing. It is slightly confusing!
I was talking to someone the other day about design and an interesting topic came up. It was loosely based around the democratizing of design due to advances in technology etc. But something that came from this, was a question about the sole interaction with clients over the web as the only...
But yes, it is very much about portfolio. Going to uni gives you a chance to build up a good portfolio and explore your 'creative side'. But it doesn't prepare you for the 'real world' either.
You could learn just as much getting an apprenticeship, if not more. But that is subjective to where...
What do you mean a 'not too hard course'?
There is a BA or a more vocational HND with a possible top up year. They are what you make of them. I know people that do loads and loads of work and I also know people that barely scrape through (but do because the uni wants their fees money!).
What I got out of college wasn't much! I'm assuming your going to do a design course- if so, it will give you a chance to possibly learn new software, but also free time to experiment.
Why not do both? It's not as if you are going to have full-time work, 40 hours a week in the next two years...
Thanks for the info!
I have a server and domain name, just no clue about this! haha The only webdesign I have experience in, is with Flash.
Thanks again and I will add you on msn to pester you ;)
I was hoping to run a blog from my website but have absolutely no knowledge of it! I have downloaded but haven't had a chance to look through it properly.
If you a willing to help me out or give me some tips bluecube (anyone), that would be great!
