Newsprint Paper Question

Hey everyone,

For a design idea, I really want to print one of my designs on A1 newsprint/newspaper paper, but I don't have the tools to create it myself. Is there a place on the internet that is able to make A1 newsprint prints for a decent price?

Many thanks,

Alex

You need A1 prints in colour (presumably?) and small quantity... thn you need A1 inkjet prints. But you will be hard-pressed to get them on newsprint paper - it's very absorbent and thin! If it's black and white find someone (high street type printer) who does plan printing - again they won't hold newsprint...

I could have sworn that when we did screenprinting in college and again at uni we did it on newsprint.... could be my memory acting up though!

You're right. Newsprint is used to do quick tests or blot away excess ink before you print on your proper stock :) (though i used to print finals on newsprint all the time because i love the feel of it)

I did too! I love the feel of it, and the smell!

Perhaps a happy medium would be to simulate the colour of newsprint (ie. the paper is along way from white and the blacks a long way from black) on a thin paper, but not so thin an inkjet can't use it. Obviously the back of the paper would be the give away as it would be white.

Happy to talk prices off list if that'd be useful.

Regards,
Craig
