It's a good site too! I used it a few months ago and found someone had ripped off some of my content...... One nasty email later, and it was all sorted.... thanks to copyscape!

Smite them! It really gets my goat when people steal.... I have had a lot of dealings with this sort of thing lately (other than my own episode) It's rife at the moment.

What are you going to do Boss? Email them first?

My old boss is a terrible plageriser. Thinks himself a designer but his only skill is retouching in an early 90s fashion.

Even when doing the firms xmas card he spent a WEEK reproducing a "Tesco Value" logo to rip off an idea that originated on the B3ta message board. It wouldn't be so bad if he admitted he'd ripped it off, but to try and claim it as his own, shameless.

Never mind written content, even hotlinking directly to images piggybacking off other site's servers is a big problem these days.

I am an Admin on a Zimbabwean forum and was horrified (fell off my chair at the time) to see an extrememly graphic xxxxxx-rated photo on a board post that someone had posted. It was a harmless 'happy Friday the 13th' post and the guy went to a movie poster site and copied the image from the Friday the 13th movie into his post. The poster site had one of those graphic switch codes in place and I assure you that the replacement image veiwable, had nothing to do with Friday the 13th whatsoever.

This reminds me of something I found a few months ago....

My friend had set up a blog and asked me to post on it to get it started. Recently I was checking my google stats and saw this web address I didn't recognise.

I clicked on it, and was (somewhat!) shocked to see it was her exact site selling pornographic items. They had used her html/css and added their own "content". Needless to say, when I told her she wasn't a happy bunny!
