    photo gallery/diary help

Hey guys, I found my tutor at uni has a website where he just keeps all the snazzy photos he takes here: Kieran O'Connor Diary

I basicly want to do the same, I've looked at the view info and have seen its based on wp and uses jquery lazy load to create the slow load. I'm not a big fan of wordpress and was wondering if you know any other ways a could produce a simular effect.

    Thanks, Tom

As far as I understand it (although not tested it myself) Lazy Load has some issues running on some browsers and, in particular, mobile devices. The best alternative I have found is JAIL; Jquery Asynchronous Image Loader | jQuery Plugins

As for using it, that's the beauty of JQuery, just plug and play with any website. Doesn't have to be Wordpress.
