Default Portfolio critique sil-vous plait

hey guys, quite new to the forum and thought I'd follow suit one more time from Timmo.

timmp! your friendly web and graphic designer from Birmingham, UK

What do you think of my portfolio site? I am currently making ammendments to the portfolio as of new work, so don't expect to see much up. Also, the blog will be on an external page quite soon, just when I get round to my site instead of client's sites instead!

Thanks all :D

It looks great :D I love the "houses" illustration.

I also love the idea of a one page site, but you could do so much more.... by maybe adding a fixed background.

(just for examples)
Emrah DUZER | Freelance Web Design Freelance Logo Designer | Freelance Web Design Typography | Freelance Web Design Web Design | Freelance Web Design Logo Design | Freelance Web Design Flash Animation | Freelance Web Design Graphic Design | Freelance

css Zen Garden: The Beauty in CSS Design

and my absolute favourite.......The portfolio of Bryan Katzel | Design, illustration & stuff to make you smile

Hi Tim

Welcome to the Graphic Design Forums, good to have you here

I like your site, love the pencil drawn header.

I personally don't like one page websites though, can you not set up seperate pages for your blog and portfolio? Maybe splitting the portfolio section into 2, website design and graphic design or something.

If you keep everything as is you will have load time issues in the future when you have expanded your portfolio and blog.

Good start though

Yeah, I mentioned in the first post on this thread I'm going to separate the blog, it's just there for a little while. I agree with load-up times tho.

Thanks guys :D
