Thread: New Design Agency website

Hi people,

I am a graphic designer but rarely I do web designs. I am planning to start up a new design agency and I did design my own website. What do you think: Hypernova Design in Luton, Bedfordshire - High Definition Graphic Design | Designs | Animation | 3D

Any positive/negative opinions would be appreciated.

If I'm honest mate, it's a little naff. The flash animations on each page are kind of cheesy. I'm not liking the dice in the header either, I don't really see what that has to do with design (it says 'gamble' to me).

The index page is really wordy too. Maybe add some pictures, such as the latest work you've done with a quick explanation and a link to the design process.

People love to see how things are made, and showing people that a design didn't just make itself on a computer but you actually sketched ideas and spent time researching helps to add value to what you do.

The navigation bar from your website looks very similar to mine... I agree. Is it patented?

No, but the idea of the navigation bar is typical for web.2.0 menus. Do you want me to change it?
