Hello all. I've come to this great forum to try and get some advice. I'm a graphic designer from Northampton, England. I've been asked if I can convert a website from flash to html for better SEO mainly. I'm not really up to scratch on my web design, so I'm after any tips from people who know what they're doing! There's no animations, it's quite a simple site.
Will I just have to make a site that looks the same from scratch, or is there a good way of extracting layout and graphics? Any hints or tips much appreciated. Chris. Last edited by Anglo Design; 10-17-2008 at 10:54 AM. |

Welcome to the forum Anglo- due to the way html code is generated, and owing to flash sites not being very good, the best approach is to export the image files from your flash content and import the images and layout into PSD format. You can then tweak the design in PSD format and then pass your design over to a coder.
Incidently xhtml/css coding is a service that i offer (and will be doing even more so in the future) so if you'd like to drop me a pm i can discuss some costings with you. Mike |
