attempting to convert my first psd design to an actual working site and am getting frustrated... ive sat through many tutorials and have picked up alot of basics. going through the motions and once everything seems to be falling into place it all starts slowly falling apart :( deap breathes, keep calm, start over. < /rant > <-- see am learning |

Well two tutorials I would recommend would be this one which teaches about slicing the page in photoshop and exporting it as html and then this one which follows on from the first tutorial and teaches you how to export a web layout made in Photoshop and build an editable website layout in Dreamweaver.
While this is far from being the "ideal" way to layout a website it is what you seem to be wanting to get started in Dreamweaver. |

Are you slicing a template for coding? If you are what you need to remember is that most of a template you don't need. You can repeat a process. If you download TeamViewer 4 I will let you watch me slice a template on my PC.
Its easy once you have done it once or twice. PM me if you need more help. I've sliced thousands of templates up for coding OK.;) |
